EA DC UPS Serie UPS 700
Emergency power supply equipment and systems are indispensable for electronic equipment which must continue operating in event of a mains supply failure. Some examples are: industrial and health monitoring systems, communication systems, manufacturing and process control systems etc.
An external battery or several battery units EA-BU (maintenance free, sealed lead acid batteries) can be connected as required. Mains failure and battery low voltage can be displayed on LEDs and via isolated output contacts. At risk of deep discharge the unit is shut off. To build up UPS systems with other 24/48V power supplies up to max. 20A, there are control units EA-CU 700 available. All terminals are located on the front panel using the plug-in system. The wiring can be made before the installation of the units.
If required the units can be simply snapped onto DIN rails No. 35. Because of the Phoenix plug-in system, maintenance and exchange of the units is very quick and easy. The exchange and maintenance of the batteries can be carried out during operation.
The battery unit series EA-BU 700 and EA-BU 800 are designed to be used with the UPS series EA-UPS 700 respectively EA-UPS 800. They are available in 12, 24 and 48V at up to 20A. Both, the 10A and 20A versions, feature an output fuse, which is easily replaceable. The batteries used are sealed, maintenance-free lead acid types with an expected lifetime of approximately 5 years. In order to extend the backup time, multiple battery units can be wired in parallel.
