Paint stability
Paint manufacturers run accelerated weather simulation trials to test paint stability, with relative humidity being a key factor. The tests are conducted primarily in environmental chambers, but also under outdoor weather conditions, where meteorological probes are used.

Water-based paints must be processed under controlled environmental conditions so that they dry properly and a perfect finish is obtained.
